Prior to founding Alamsyah & Laskoro, Satrio Laskoro has worked in several prominent law firms in Indonesia, which he gained extensive experiences in dealing with high profile clients. Later, he continued his career by joining one of the most renowned Korean oil and gas companies as a key person of the company who is responsible for commercial legal advice.
Aside from his professional job, Satrio actively gives an advocacy in local communities to increase the importance of legal awareness.
Satrio holds Bachelor of Law from the University of Indonesia. He also holds a Tax Diploma from the same university.
As advocate, Satrio is a member of Indonesian Advocates Association (PERADI) and is licensed to practice as an Advocate in Indonesia.
Satrio Experience
Satrio’s expertise covers comprehensive litigation matters which mainly relate to commercial transactions, industrial relations, competition law, consumer protection law and commercial litigation.
In his earlier career, he has assisted one of the largest aircraft manufacturers with regard to the settlement claim of an airplane crash and one of the largest associations in maritime industry related to the cartel allegation. He is also involved in the legal proceeding in the Commission for the Supervision of Business Competition assisting one of the biggest tire manufacturers in Indonesia due to the anti-competitive practice allegation.
In the consumer protection arena, he has successfully assisted one of the biggest insect repellent producers due to the false advertising by its competitor. Due to his high concern about consumer protection, he joined with another petitioner to submit a judicial review towards Indonesian Consumer Protection Act to Constitutional Court in 2015.
